Just looking for people's opinions.
-
What kind of conditions are you facing?
-
Any/all. I used to think this was the Marvel Pearl. Ball I could go straight with, even get around it if need be. Slight surface adjustment for more volume. You know, versatile.
-
Rhodman Pearl
-
Marvel Pearl...everything else isn't even close
-
Marvel Pearl and Idol Pearl are at the top of the heap.
-
Have you had a chance to compare the Marvel Pearl in Idol Pearl? I have not thrown the Idol Pearl. I have the Marvel Pearl, even have a NIB in hiding.

I'm kind of here as well, deciding between the Marvel Pearl and Idol Pearl. It's a strong pearl I'm looking to add to my bag for the summer sport league and nationals.....

Id imagine IDOL pearl is stronger, Marvel Pearl can be used on more conditions

Hammer rhodman pearl is really good. Best symmetrical pearl I’ve thrown from the EBI brands in a few years. Doesn’t matter what oil pattern, it’s going to make the trip.
-
Green gargoyle on house shot. MP on sport.
-
I typically throw polished hybrids so those really come to mind, I have had good luck with the wrecker, the respect, the hyroad..
Pearls my favorite is the uproar
-
*Insert Match Up Black Pearl train
I loved the Marvel Pearl quite a bit so I can understand the support behind it.
-
I find the gamebreaker 3 pearl to be pretty versatile.
-
I would say Rhodman pearl and Marvel Pearl in that order. The Idol Pearl is an awfully strong pearl!

Yes, Idol Pearl is more downlane and better opening up the lane. The Marvel Pearl is better in the track and going straighter, depends on how you see the lane.
-
With gb3 pearl I can play up the boards or move inside, even on a fresh shot.
-
I have had 2 marvel pearls and just tried a Idol Pearl. Marvel pearl was great on long sport patterns where I could play direct and take advantage of its rolly nature. Idol Pearl has a different look but is also best when I can go more direct. Hyroad Nano has been better than both when I I need to go away from the pocket .
-
I'm picking up an Idol Pearl today, we'll see how it works out....
-
I had two different Hy-Road Nanos, didn't care for either one. Tried multiple surfaces on both. I do love the Idol though for that slot.
-
Idol Pearl faces up really hard off the spot but it shortens the "window" down lane so it isn't very forgiving to release errors.
That's at least what I'm seeing. Super low RG Pearls are usually a dead nut because they get the ball into a stronger roll before it changes direction. It makes it very easy to go up the lane and inch your way in through transition.
Brunswick Inferno Remake is another underrated one.
