My 4 Ball League Arsenal
« on: September 18, 2006, 08:47:58 AM »
Greetings all!

I wanted to share my thoughts on my league arsenal for this year.  This is probably the best 4 ball setup I have had in quite some time.  Check out my profile and you will see I have quite a few balls listed there, but most are for tournament conditons/very condition specific...Here are the 4 I am using in league..

1) Mean Machine (Mean Machine 2 in my pics) - Drilled using Track's Rev Dominate layout with MB in postion 2.  Amazing how early this ball reads the lane for a reactive.  The best term I can come up with movement of this ball is "arcular" a bit of arc with a bit of angularity.  Very easy ball to read the pattern with and is used on a fresh shot.

2) Arsenal Artillery (see pics for layout).  I wanted a low rg ball but wanted some pop on it down the lane. I take 800 or 1000 grit to it and it is a great medium ball.  Gets into a roll early but saves the pop for the back end.  Taking off the shine has made this such a control ball for me and have shot tons of big games and series with this.

3) Xception.  (see pics for layout).  To me this is the perfect compliment to my Artillery.  Left in box condition and kicked the mb out a bit and when the Artillery reads to early, it is a quick move to the Xception and I am pounding the pocket again.  The carry with this ball is truly something else.

4) Columbia Scout/R Hi-Flare (See pics for layout).  When the X is too much then it is time for the Hi-Flare.  Great ball for the price and doubles up as my spare ball.  Very oil sensitive but when the lanes burn up, this ball is pretty tough to beat.

There it is....would love to hear any comments or suggestions..

Thanks!

Mike

But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."
