my center is reopening June 1st, any word on yours yet?
« on: April 21, 2020, 08:28:08 AM »
Just got an email from my leaague that our center is reopening June 1st. WE need to vote on weather to finish out the season or just call it a day and do payouts as is. How about your bowling center? Have they set a reopening date yet?

In NY State...we'll be lucky if we even have a bowling season this year if Cuomo has anything to say about it. I don't see this house arrest thing ending anytime soon here.

Went and bowled 7 games and was surprised the first shot felt really good. As I bowled getting the timing back was certainly an issue. I also didn't bring my best equipment as I resurfaced them when it became apparent the rest of the season had been cancelled. The stuff I brought didn't match up that great with the shot that had been put out, but it was great to be back on the lanes and hope all of you are able to get that same feeling in the near future!!!

It's not going too, we are in the "new normal" all the famous people have told us so... eye roll.. Too many things have changed and been accepted as the "new normal" they are not letting us go back to the way it was...To much power is in play here.

Did you pay your normal house prices, or did you more/less, under the “New Normal”?

I paid the normal price. $2.50 a game for a league bowler. The only difference is for open bowling you now have to pay in advance and rent by the hour.

How many games did you bowl in an hour? I'm guessing maybe 4 if by yourself. Several alleys up my way have an hourly rate, which I don't really care for, but it is what it is, I suppose.  ???

I didn't have the hour limit or have to rent a lane. As a league bowler they had things as they had been. The other rules were for recreational bowlers. I wasn't very clear with my previous post.
