clean set! yay! It just shows how important spares are. I bowled 617, and i only had 6-7 strikes all set. The lanes have been TERRIBLE at my center latly, they got a new oiling machine, and aparently the tech doesnt know how to use it, so he just presses buttons and sends it down the lane. I out bowled EVERYONE by a good 70 pins, ALL because of my sparing. A clean set is one of the only things i havnt dun... well 800... but that aint gunna happen lol. Ive been averaging over 200 for 2 years but never managed this. Now im bowling in trashy conditions, averaging 185, and i have one. Weird! A good time to have one though, its taken me from 5th to 2nd on the standings!

Congrats, Matt!

I've posted 4 clean sets, but no stupid 700.  671, 673 twice, and 691 (stupid stone 8 pin cost me 700)

Congrats - doesn't it feel great???
I've done it several times - the toughest was the 602 with no opens and 1 double. I shot a LOT of single pins that set!
The most recent one was a 738 (I think).

the Reno Bowling Association had an award called a Closed 30. It was for those clean sets. I'm going to ask our association here in Portland to start doing the same. Even my 811 series wasn't clean - I chopped a spare in the middle of the last game!

Never not once had one!

That damn one open gets me every time!

Always one tough split somewhere.
