How do i measure my track flare? Is it how wide the track is from the first to the last flare ring?

????

Track flare is going to be different from ball to ball.

Yes, that's right. But it will be difficult to measure, since you will only have the oil rings. Depending on the amount and length of oil, you might only see a few rings and therefore not draw conclusions concerning your personal or your ball's innate or drilled flare potential or actual flare "distance" when it tilts towards its PSA.

There are many influences towards track flare, you will always have to check the ball (the RG differential is a good indicator for the flare potential of the ball, while its drilling can exploit it or not) and the player (RPM or hand revs are a good indicator for how many times you will be able to make the ball flare towards its final stable rolling position with your own input).

I guess there is no easy answer. But checking oil rings and how far they are away from each other between the flare ring intersections might be an indicator of how kuch the ball will move/flare, although you will probably never get a clear answer.
