Need ideas for Tech Videos
« on: October 30, 2006, 01:37:57 PM »
Looking for ideas for future videos...

Is there anything in particular you guys want to see? Whether it be on the lanes or behind the scenes in a pro shop, I can pretty much do anything.

Thanks!

I would like to see you get a couple of cheap x-outs and
show how they could be drilled for maximum effectiveness.
6+ inch pins and 0 inch pins.  That way people would not
shy away from buying x-outs and getting a good deal on
top of the line balls.

I would, but Brunswick doesn't release X-Outs or 2nds anymore. They did at one time, they were stamped Lane 1

LOL jk guys!

Might sound crazy, dumb, or just absurd, but what about taking 6 or 7 of the same balls. Drill each ball with a different pin to pap distance. like the first one put the pin of your pap, then the next one and inch out then 2 and so on and so forth. but don't add any weight holes (for like 2 or 3 shots each) to change the reaction of the ball. then add them half way through to give possible lay-out recommendations. just a thought, but might sound crazy as you would be using 6 to 7 of the same ball.

Ncik, just to re-inforce everyone that the CG doesn't matter, drill 2 3-4" pin out Scorchin Inferno's with the same 4" pin to PAP position next to the ring finger. One ball swing the CG neg. to about an eight o'clock position from the pin. The other swing out positive four o'clock to the pin.

Obviously the positive will have illegal statics, but they don't matter..? Let's see if there's no difference in ball reation and/or pin carry. =:^D
