Hey all leaving tomorrow for Vegas and don't know what I should fill the bag with.
Taking my Motiv Forge and Venom Shock for sure but need help with the third from these options.
Motiv Villian
Motiv Trident Quest
Motiv Revolt Vengence (getting a little long in the tooth but still usable )
Ebonite Choice
From what it sounds like, I'm kinda wishing I had a Venom Shock Pearl or Venom Cobra or something like those.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions

I'd take the Quest so you have something with length. The Forge and Venom Shock should do most of the work for you

Take something that rolls forward off the end of the pattern. It's very easy to go through the face on these patterns.

This. Last time I bowled Nationals (2006) my best look was with a Machine drilled 45*4.5*65 in team, and first 3 games of d/s until I had to step left and use a Threat 4*30 with a hole on the pap.
If I had 4 balls to take now, I'd go Covert Ops 50*5*65 @2000, Claw 50*5*65 @4000, Honey Badger 60*5*30 oob, Boost 5*40.

Doom, how can you leave out the black ops? Ball is money at nationals. I’ll have mine in the bag with 1000 grit when I leave for Vegas next Friday. Guess the covert and black ops with surface are close.

For the top of the bag, I'd take S72 so I had a little more teeth under me. If I was taking 6, a Black Ops and Badger would be in the bag.

Why does it seem sacrilegious that Doom has the Black Ops in his B bag for Nationals? It's not........but it feels as such. :-\ :-\ :-\ ??? :P

Because, for me, S70 solid has the same issue as R2S for some people. A little change in the formula and it changes how the ball sees the lane. When I had a Black Break in my hands, I'd challenge anyone on anything with that ball. But ever since the Eagle, it feels.. different.

I saw a NIB Black Eagle for sale in a FB Group for like $100 the other day.
Underrated line of balls.

I'd pull the trigger on a BE pearl no doubt.
