Placing tape to view ball reaction
« on: December 06, 2008, 11:30:38 PM »
Where on the ball should I place tape to view the reaction of the ball? I've seen a ball someplace that had a 1/2" strip of tape on it but don't remember where on the ball it was. I have a hard time seeing what my ball is doing. Thanks.

I would assume somewhere around your PAP perpendicular to the direction of the track?

You can do it a couple of ways. Like kid said, on the PAP or vertical between the thumb and bridge of the finger holes. Either way, you should be able to see how the ball holds the initial axis rotation.

whoever said size doesn't matter never had trouble with a thumbhole

I don't have any trouble seeing tape on the pap. I'll try the tape between thumb and fingers along with the pap tape and see what happens.
