Been waiting on this Vibe for 8 months. Finally getting close. Great series. I hope the looks match the name

I had waited a long time for it but couldn't wait any longer so I pulled the trigger on a Hustle Camo a few months ago. Definitely the closest to a Vibe I've had

I have two drilled and two undrilled orange vibes so i was safe a little while longer lol. I have a gold Hustle i recently drilled i like. It's a good step down from the vibes or beast i have which is hard to find these days. Just couldn't get excited about the camo look......the gold is one of the best looking of any gold ball.

I don't think it's going to be at Bowl Expo though..
I say that (and I could very well be wrong) because I don't see any of the balls mentioned in the OP on the Approved List yet. Now, I'll caveat that by saying that I don't know if balls shown at Bowl Expo show up on the Approved List before Bowl Expo, so they very well could be there.
When is the next update to the Ball Approved List, and is it before or after Bowl Expo?
BL.

Columbia bringing out two Messenger balls. Nice to see them doing something new with Columbia brand!

This interests me only because they had them out before as well as the Beasts and then I am not sure they had the Messenger as a 2021-2022 release. Plus, I notice the Beasts are gone off their website. So I picked up both Hopkinsviile versions when they went on closeout. Think I spent only $100 total for both balls.

Interesting pieces on that list, might have to try a few.

I don't understand the angst over releasing upcoming product info. It's not like it's a national security secret. Besides, the pros are getting these balls earlier and earlier and they're showing up in public. But some of this info is "assumed" and can be inaccurate. Bowlersmart had the Motiv Blue Tank on its site the day after Wesley Low used it on TV and all they did was photoshop a Purple Tank and report that it used the same core as the Purple Tank, which was (at least to me) known to be wrong. They also have the Motiv Pride Empire for sale on their site now that EJ used it on TV. And you can't discount the manufacturers "leaking" info to certain people in order to generate interest.

Negatively impacts the selling power of current line equipment when the consumer already knows what is coming out months in advance.

Then maybe they shouldnt hand out the balls to the staff guys 2 months in advance? Either way it is going to get out to the public before its "intention". This lack of secrecy falls squarely on the manufacturers. Cant let the cat out of the bag and then complain that the cat has gotten around and exposed.

The manufacturers have a release schedule you can follow by looking at approval dates on bowl.com over the years.

I understand that. But the name of the ball doesnt give away what it looks like or the specs. It is only a name. I went through this personally back in 2016 when I worked at Classic. When the Mission Unknown was being released; we got the info apparently before it was supposed to get out to the public and I posted on this site about it. Well the big whigs at Ebonite contacted the President of the company asking for it to come down because they were going to hold some event with the official announcement. So I got to be on a conference call with Ebonite and they said they were not upset but appreciated the excitement being brought to their company but the info I was leaking was before their intended announcement date.

If the balls are spread out based on performance, this shouldn't matter. The problem is, some manufacturers release similar products in a shorter window. Becomes even more of an issue when you own multiple brands. They should do a better job in that regard if they are concerned about lost sales. And if it's a good product, it will sell regardless. There are some balls on the market that have been there for years. If people aren't buying balls, I don't think it's due to what's coming next.
