Let's face it.  We all knew this thread couldn't go on without a Lane #1 slam.

Does that make you sad???

Nope.  Does it make you wet?

Not as much as all those cool diamond cores makes those dumb sawheads wet.

Not sure if it was this year or last year but 505C

It was last year but I wish I could nominate it again this year.

For this year I would say the Mission is BOTY. I've yet to try my 916 All-Terrain so we'll see.

<<----- doesnt buy new balls, the ball to go this year for me is my 10 years old revolution for house shot and the black pearl reactive for sport shot
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

I'm in the process of trying to find out where I fit in the bowling world. I do not know my tech specs of my game, but it's all a learning process.

Slams or no slams...the best one I drilled for myself this year was a Lane #1 Time Bomb. Runner-up was the AMF Clutch Pearl.

I think I test-drove gear from 8 or 9 different companies.

The Mission never caught on here, in big numbers, and moreover, of all the guys that are throwing it locally, only one has had any real success with it. But we don't have a lot of oil volume, either.

For me it would depend on the house and conditions:

Heavy Oil: Pure Physics
Medium Oil: Midnight Vibe
Light or Toasted:  Track 300C

The Ebonite Mission has the best shot at BoY.

There are plenty of great balls out there this year: Burst, 607ASE, Pink Panther, Plague, Profit, Revolver, Topical Heat Hybrid....

Tons of great stuff.....but I think the Mission is looking the award square in the face.
