Ball Weight

Recently started bowling with balls 14 lb 13 ozs before drilling bought an ball 15 lb 4 ozs before drilling my wrist started to hurt and the ball felt heavy could it be the difference in weight cause the pain.

Not a big weight difference, but probably enough to feel.   Could be other factors like slightly different pitches too
