Oldest ball you have that you STILL use?
« on: November 20, 2008, 04:38:35 AM »
There's been alot of posts lately about how many balls one buys a year, etc.  Granted I've bought some new ones this year, but I have 5 others that I still have a great use for. The "oldest" one I still use is a Track Mean Machine.  It was released 7/06.

I have a old Red Hammer that I had red-drilled a few weeks ago, and love using it on the Thursday nite league i bowl cuz generally the lanes are toast so the ball, hooks n sets up in the pocket   nothing like shooting mid 600's with a urethane......

I have an original St. Louis plant Faball Nail that used to use on a weekly basis. The house i bowled in has older Brunswick synthetics with alot of friction, and they don't lay down much oil. I was shooting alot of low to mid 600's with a few 700's here and there with just the nail and a plastic ball for single pin spares.

Look at all the idiots that HAD to add a score in their post.

The question had nothing to do with how great you guys are.

I currently throw:
Purple sumo
purple rhino pro
gold rhino pro(needs to be replaced soon if someone has one lying around)
red pearl faball hammer
original faball nail

I guess I need a few more of these real old gems. I mean heck just the other day I pulled a 183,191,222 with my old purple sumo
