I just got a copy of Advanced Bowling with Fred Borden, Jeri Edwards, and Chris Barnes.  It was actually one of the worst produced and boring videos that I have ever seen of any kind.  Not worth a penny.  Glad I was given a copy.  Total waste of 54 minutes of my life.  Get my feelings.

This was a slightly different one...

"Advanced Bowling: Techniques, Tips And Tactics - DVD"

Note the additional instructor besides Fred Borden in this one...is
Ken Yobolansky.

I happen to own it, I bought it about a year ago.  I got it to help gain little bits and pieces of things that i was missing, or working on but couldn't quite figure out.  All in all i think it was worth the money, because some of the things i took from it helped me get to jog in ft. lauderdale, and win more scholarship than i have in previous years.

if i remember correctly it was where the ball is in your swing during your slide to the foul line.  i.e. if you have a short slide or the ball is really close to your release point while sliding you have no separation or a small amount of separation and if the ball is just coming down from your back swing you have a lot of separation.  I'm going off of what i remember from watching it a few months ago if you would like i could pop the dvd in and get the 100% explanation of separation.

I have the DVD. The video is basically all talk, what I mean is to me a good teaching video would have a lot of slow-mo in it so as the instructor starts to make a point the viewer can see what he means more clearly by seeing it done in slow-mo.

However, the DVD can be slowed down but it still will not be able to view what I needed to understand...at least thats my take on it. I wouldn't call it advanced teaching though but thats me.
