Secretary fees
« on: May 25, 2012, 07:14:09 PM »
Is $4600 a lot for a 36tm league @ 36Weeks. Works up to almost $128 per week. Seems outrageous considering the house provides standing sheets and all.

The most important factor in selecting a secretary --  is he/she trustworthy.  Nothing worse than getting to payout night and discovering the secretary isn't there.  --  JohnP

I don't bowl in leagues where secretaries take $5,000 and laugh at you for being stupid.

Sorry Jorge, you like to rip people off and you can't justify it!

If you were not so stupid you could put 2 and 2 together and understand that I do not live in the same state as the poster who bowls in a league where the secretary is taking $5,000.  So how am I supposed to "step" up and take the job if I don't live there.  Not once did I say that any of the secretaries in my league do a bad job, or need to be in place.  They do fine jobs, while getting fair pay, while some elect to be underpaid for the good of the league.

Once again, ripping people off for $5,000  that covers your entire bowling season fees,  allows you to win prize money, and also make more profit than the winning teams is without question taking advantage of the league.

Your not only stupid, your an idiot.   Plain and simple my friend.

Some people amaze me.  Just read the dumb things you say back and then think about how silly they are when it comes to the reality and actuality of what you say.

We all know me, the next guy on here, and the next guy after that do not even live or bowl in the same area as the poster.  So how are we going to "remedy" the situation?

I run a tournament series that I am trying to get off the ground floor.  I don't take an vig or expenses.  I only get what is paid to me by the bowling center for my time.

So when you start doing something productive, other than spouting off stupidity after stupidity please let me know so we can have a productive conversation over the issues at hand.

when you consider that $5,000 is under the table and not taxed, it really is a sweet deal.

Summer School,
I am going to borrow a line from another poster here....Reading is skill, one you don't have. I never said you should be secretary of the OP league, I said you should be secretary of YOUR league. But far be it from me to point out the flaws in your excuses. One after another, excuse after excuse as to why you won't step up and be secretary of your league. Typical internet tough guy, nothing but a big blowhard. Lots of wind, with no substance behind it. Now if you had any reading skill, which it's obvious by now that you don't, you would have seen that I mentioned I have bowled in multiple states in the US. And not one person in one league that I bowled in, ever complained, felt ripped off, or threw a childish tantrum like you are doing, about the secretary fees. You are talking probably 400 to 500 people, who you are calling stupid, without ever meeting or knowing them. I guess that makes you the Great Summer School.....mind reader extraordinaire. You are a joke, and every port you make shows you for what you really are, a spoiled childish brat, internet tough guy wannabe. Your parents must be so proud.

I am sure your tournamnent series will do great {/sarcasm off}. As long as everybody agrees with you 100%, that is. Your customer service skills leave a lot to be desired and I bet your return cutomer percentage will be next to nothing once the entrants see who they are really dealing with.

Keep ripping people off man.  Enjoy the money while you can.

How many times do I need to tell you that the secretaries of the leagues I bowl in do a fine job, for the price they get.  They don't get $5,000 you clown.

Yeah I missed your post a bit when you said be the secretary.  Well I can't because there are already secretaries of the leagues, and they do a good job without screwing over the league.   I've been secretary of leagues.  It's not a super hard job.  I told you that like 100 times already, but you can't read either.

I have a huge problem with somebody getting $5,000 to do secretary bowling work,  you obviously have no problem ripping people off.

That is the end of this conversation.

Summer School,
I am very sorry. I posted again believing that you might actually read and comprehend things, that is so wrong of me. Would it be easier for you if drew some pictures with crayons so it is more on your mental level?

I am not secretary of any of my leagues moron. But the 400-500 people I have bowled with, and myself, have never had any issues with the amount of money given to those who were. So who am I ripping off?

Excuse, after excuse..."they do a good job"....how many more excuses can you come up with? You think secretaries are overpaid, got an easy job, so step up and do it. You won't though, cause you don't want to be proven wrong. Cause you are wrong, and you know it. So go slink away and think up more excuses as to why you won't show some guts, be a man and step up and do the job. Like I have been saying, nothing but a big bag of wind, nothing behind it, no backbone, just another internet tough-guy wannabe.
