Pattern Adjustments
« on: April 17, 2008, 06:56:18 AM »
Does anyone ever try to adjust the oil pattern by throwing different balls on different parts of the lane to increase your area? You know throw a plastic right up 15 to get better hold and a 300 grit ball outside to get better recovery. How many people do this?

It's only been 32 minutes since you posted the thread.  Calm down.

And no, I do not do this.  In a regular league, it's useless since there is already dry right and oil left.  And in my PBA Experience league, there isn't enough practice time to actually do anything other than get warmed up.

Sometimes in a team tourney. Don't need it in league already have 3 or 4 boards at most houses. Going to try it with our USBC team in June, 320 grit Gray Gargoyle on one side and a Black Diamond on the other.
