OK I went to practice today and my ball(brand new eliminator) got a huge gash/cut in it from the ball return. The lady working to desk said owner wasn't there but they would have my ball repaired form me since it was their fault the cover over the pit wasn't put back on correctly. This ball is brand new! The cut is about 3in long and 1/8in deep. It is just under my fingers. It dosen't look like it's in my track. My qusestion is filling this ball going to effect they way it plays? Is just having the center repair it fair compensation? While I am on here I have a couple more questions.

Does this happen often?
Will using the ball more before it is repaired mess it up?
Will cleaning it mess it up?
I like putting my ball in the spinner for 3-5min once a week is this a bad thing to do?
Does the spinner machine polish the ball or just clean it?(it seems slick after putting it in the spinner.. I like it like that though)
