foot goes to the right
« on: September 09, 2008, 10:57:48 AM »
I am right handed some what of a cranker.  When I roll the ball my slide foot turns right when I look down.  I was wondering is that bad or does it matter cause the ball is already away?

If the ball has already left your hand before your foot turns, don't worry about it.  What matters is that you are in a stable position at the point of release.  Here's an example

Go to 9:40 and watch WRW's slide foot.  You'll notice the ball has left his hand and even gone almost to the arrows at the time his foot turns.

My foot always turns right after the ball is released.  I'm not even sure when it started.  Strike Dominition gave you a good clip to watch.  WRW probably does that more than any bowler I can even remember seeing.  I may not be a fan of him, but he is the best in the business so....
