PDW
« on: November 15, 2006, 10:55:23 AM »
Pete Weber shows how  low class he is  again!
It's hard to believe this is the son of such a fine gentleman as Dick Weber.
The PBA should ban him for life for his obscene gestures on TV.

Actually, I believe his antics to be quite spontaneous and genuine ... IMHO.

Instead of banning him, they should give him an exempt spot on TV each week.  Just kidding.  I would like to see him change his shtick a little if possible...  Not because I don't like it, but because maybe he could do some new stuff.

Well, lets just say that being warned multiple times, continuing your antics to the point of being banned for a season, and punching out a spectator are NOT what you'd call good professional behavior. Dick should be embarassed even in his grave. Pete is an idiot.

PDW occasionally uses the suck-it sign that Triple H and Shanw Michaels uses on WWE.

With what's on daytime and primetime TV these days, and the language used in those shows, and even with all of the BLAND and VANILLA personalities in the PBA, I'm glad to see people like PDW, Weisman(sp), Patrick Allen and others throw a little FLAIR into their bowling.

I didn't realize one had to have a SAINT Card as well as a PBA Card to bowl..

Wow!!...I was not aware of PDW`s off the lane antics....but in a twisted way...when he is bowling, I love his energy and emotions. The crazier he gets.....the better he seems to bowl. And I love it. With some people....its hard to channel your emotions. I was that way when i was younger....the older guys then had to settle me down a lot. Ive learned to keep myself in check,  but bowling on T.V. professionally, for big money, under the lights is two different things...think about it......Earl

I've never liked Pete Weber either but he is who he is and I don't think anyone is going to do much about it. I like it when he's on the telecasts since it give me the chance to see him get whipped(more often than not) by Walter Ray, who is a real class act in my book. Also, anyone who appreciates a good crotch chop needs to cut their mullet, change their dirty wife beater and drive their 80s Camaro time machine back to 2006 and realize it's lame and tired at this point in time. It was cool back in the 90s when they first started doing it but now it's just lame.

Except for the Japan Cup.  I think after his triple crotch chop (which was electrifying by the way), he was too pumped up and blew his next shot.  I think that's why he was a bit more toned down on this week's championship match.

Ok ... let's add this point; Pete has virtually flawless mechanics and timing, and that stroke is so silky smooth and SWEET !!! When he's "lined up and on", he's almost unbeatable.

Same with Parker Bohn, who is my favorite to watch.  That doesn't mean I don't like watching Pete.  They both have fun styles to watch.
