Perpendicular Backswing!
« on: February 16, 2022, 08:29:11 AM »
For whatever reason, this came across my recommended feed.  This lady's backswing is completely vertical and the ironic part about it, is in the first part of the video, the King of Swing (Fagan) himself is there.  Cant imagine there are too many times Fagan walks in and another bowler has a higher backswing than him (maybe Ronnie Russell and Rudy Kasimakis?)

She is very successful in the Japanese PLeague bowling series.  Those tournaments are fun to watch if you get a chance.

Perhaps she is just trying to match her pre-swing. It's also above her head.

That and the JPBA are really good right now.

Miki and Urara Himeji (another lady with a very high backswing) have been in some classic JPBA matches. Urara has won so many times as well as majors over there that she's likened to Liz Johnson. The only thing that stopped her from accepting the invite to the US Open here in Rohnert Park was COVID.
