Dry lane ball
« on: August 20, 2009, 04:06:59 AM »
I bowl on second shift wood alleys, that are pretty burnt up by the time I bowl. What would be a good ball for a stroker that throws the ball about 16mph?

Roto Grip Neptune or Global 900 Link are the 2 best dry ally balls out there right now without touching urethane or plastic equipment.

LM Hornet would be my first choice, you can control it and make adjustments that will work on burned out lanes or when they get over/under. Link is still too strong for most extremely dry lanes. Lane #1 XXXL is also a decent choice. I have a Lane #1 Liberator that will also work on dry lanes as will most urethane balls polished up a little.

Brunswick's Power Groove Dry/R is good on dry lanes.  --  JohnP
