In Chicago they used to say "railroad" for a split. I always thought it meant the 7-10, because "double-railroad" was a 4-6-7-10.
I read somewhere a listing of names for the number of strikes in a row,(not to start the bashing) 2=chicken, 3=turkey, 4=crow(you can crow with four in a row)forget what five was but think six was an albatrose. Its been a long time since I read these.
Spillage ON LANE #XX= pins falling slowly ending in a strike.
Brick = when the ball hits and drives right through (like a brick thru a window)
