POWER STROKERS ......
« on: August 28, 2003, 06:57:20 PM »
If you were limited to using "TWO" balls this year and one was a plastic spare ball, (Possibly a Mr. Snuffy for Siniak, ), what would the other one be?.   It does not have to be a new model, it could be an oldy but goody.

I am leaning towards my Vicious but am considering buying an Inferno.

An Inferno would be a decent choice. Without throwing one though, I couldn't commit to it being my 1 ball.

Personally on a THS I would stick with my Voodoo. I can hit it with some surface on oilier nights, and I can be sure it's going to be a consistant reaction.

The power of a solid resin seems to be underrated these days.

I'd like to try an Inferno or a Turbo Diesel. Haven't tried either but from the specs and the reviews I've read they both sound like balls you could use on more than one condition.

If I had to go with something I knew would work, I'd pick my timberwolf pearl. I don't mind playing the pointing game on heavier oil and it's a lot easier to control on dry/rundown conditions compared to my diesel.

Btw, could you make that plastic ball a mr. snuffy? I've always wanted one of those

I would probably stick with my Smash/R. Although in it's current state it needs some dry, if I altered the surface a bit, it would be pretty useful on most conditions.

An X-Factor and an Ebonite Illusion, forget the plastic

But if I had to have plastic as one, i'd say either the Track Threat or Lane Master's Extreme Impact.

My choice would be my pearl 3D offset hammer (fabal) drilled 45 degrees on axis and columbia blue dot.

If I had to be stuck with one ball out of my current arsenal it would be my Thrash. I can cover any condition with it except alot of oil....and I think a quick 600-800grit sanding would take care of that.

Hmm, probably my Time Zone.  Don't know how versatile it is, really, but it's my most controllable, and the one I feel the most comfortable with.
