Thinking about getting my dad a new ball...he complains that he doesnt have an aggressive enough ball for heavy conditions for tournaments...he currently has a V2 sanded and a zone classic red pin...throws about 14-15 mph with low revs...probably considered a stroker almost Tom Baker-like
give me a variety of balls to consider so i can tlak to my proshop guy with some kind of idea bout what to get him

The wife has success with the Visionary Granite Gargoyle on heavier oil. Heavy rolling ball with good carry with the right drill and surface prep.
Goodluck with your decision.

I like my Vertigo. Have a Super Carbide - but after I bought it, I discovered that the portland oregon area NEVER has truly heavy oil.
The vertigo adapts really well to surface changes, and kills the pins!
I like my Black Cherry Bomb, too - but the Vertigo is a TAD more versatile.
