USBC Record Book feature and Honor Scores
« on: February 15, 2011, 02:46:22 AM »
I was curious as to why if you have a sanctioned honor score from a tournament those aren't listed on the USBC website? When I was looking my average up for a tournament it only lists league achievements.

Depends on when too. Not sure how far back they go with the honor scores. Most of mine are old enough they aren't there. There was also some issues when USBC moved to Arlington even getting the awards and some of those never showed up on the web and some the bowlers didn't get either.

Those records are only as good as the people submitting them. Some league secretaries and houses are very diligent about submitting them...others are not.

I am missing quite a few.

Okay, I was curious if I was the only one missing quite a few. Thanks for the responses.

In order for a USBC honor score to be recognized during tournament play, the tournament must be sanctioned by the USBC. This requires that the tournament director register the tournament with the USBC at bowl.com. It is a very simple process, and takes only a few minutes. When the tournament is registered, the tournament director then forwards any honor scores to the local USBC chapter. Without USBC registration, no honor scores will be recognized.
