You know I hadn’t thought about till now.
To bowl a pro-am with 6 pros no-tap for 3 games cost at least $99.
You can bowl with the pros 9 games, no no-tap, for $300 if you enter the PTQ.
Cost per game is about the same. And in some cases you could make the field and come out $1500 ahead.
Hey! The PTQ is a pro-am bargain.

go for it,..

I'm thinking about it
but the PTQ here is next Tuesday and I don't know if I would have time to get my entry in.
-
contact your regional director, his info should be in pba.com,..call or e-mail, he should be able to let ya know,...then go whack'em...
I'm think about bowling the Dallas stop,...what the hell.

I think it is $350 if you enter after the 7 day deadline.
-
Plus, the top amatuer gets into the bracket of 64. You don't have to be in the top 5.
-
there's an entry form on PBA.com,..you can fax your entry. I didn't see anything about the $350.

Pinbuster,
At the Chicago open two weeks ago, we had an amateur come in on the day of the PTQ. He didn't even arrive until 11:15 for a 12:00 start, and they let him in. I suspect if they had a full squad or an even multiple of four bowlers, he wouldn't have gotten on, but they didn't. I don't know what he had to pay.
