Congratulations and welcome back to Baccala!
« on: September 01, 2006, 06:03:45 AM »
After his long trip and VICTORY and drive back and then long day at work.

I believe Baccala was probably DRAINED...who wouldn't be.

BUt I would like to again congratulate him on his trip to Carthage NY after work on a Thursday(from NJ)....his smashing victory over ROBERT MUSHTARE and then his drive back all night, return to work and then probably long recovery time!

Welcome back....as I call him...."THe man with SACK!"  Thanks for doing this for all of us who wanted to just see exactly what Mr. Multiple 900 was about.

Naturally you have the video tapes or a frame by frame account available for us..
I await eagerly tales of your victorious 2 day adventure!

Was it 820 or 750 or something I think you said versus his 620?  I forget but I will love hearing MORE!  (Did he really score as high as 620???...I have a theory on that!)

Again...THank you!

Imagine what he would have done rested!

Where others brag and puff....he DID something.  I stand in admiration!

Of course I didn't go up there.

I was just trying to show the power of how a single, unsubstantiated event can be blown out of proportion and develop their own little cult followings.

Rags, maybe you can help us out with the textbook definition of "gullible".  It seems like it may be prevalent around these parts.

Of course, I could be bluffing, but you would all have to take my words at face value since no one was there to prove it!!!  Sound analogous to anything?

That's the same level of insincerity with which we should treat the beaten-to-death "achievements".

I can only report on his brief report to us!

I eagerly await the full details.

After several hundred threats claims and boasts...to see someone do SOMETHING is just....admirable!

Oh my, did I compromise the integrity of this famed discussion?

Did I do the proverbial poo-poo on the spirit of seemingly honest competition?

Did I make a mockery of the back-and-forth that makes these forums so wonderful?

Did I play on some people's vested emotional attachment to this topic?

Yes, I did.  It was totally intentional and an exact representation of what one party did to a much larger audience.  However, that other party got recognition that will go on record and will be part of history.  Mine will only be part of a rib that will fizzle in a couple of posts.

But, can you really prove that I did not, in actuality, do as I said I did?

A guy would claim SACK and then just be kidding?

Show me how I misread the post?

I was very impressed...drat!  JORGE...you knew he was lying?
That's awesome...with that type of "SENSE"  who needs torture we could send you to Afghanistan and find Bin Laden...by Sunday!

Did you mean that instead he "LIED" and intended to deceive all of the Ballreviews site ?  I don't understand someone doing that.  I mean everyone who has made these claims KNOWS they can wipe him out there...it sounds so easy based on all the claims(OH yes Jorge...I made no claims...I believe the guy can really light it up there at his home location...others do also).  I have followed all the claims and I can't fathom...the WHY...unless...maybe it's not as easy as people think it will be.

From what I understand about BAccala's bowling it sounded very believable.

REGARDLESS we are back where we started...hundreds of claims...and I guess we have to withdraw our congratulations.

REgards,

Luckylefty

So...after reading your post regarding misleading the bowling members of this forum and you likened it to Robert Mushtare's claims.

I don't see how it can likened.

1. 17 witnesses appeared in front of the USBC in his favor....Your number of witnesses??
2.  When confronted he continued to say the same thing.  When asked a second time(or should we say congratulated) you immediately confessed to not being forthcoming and instead revealed that you had been intentionally misleading.  During his sit down talk on ESPN outside the lines.  He related that many people have asked him to refute his story.  He said that "I can't...that would not be the truth".

You did say...no one could prove different...but couldn't we call Pine Plains or Robert Mushtare and see if your attendance was noted at the establishment on that Thursday night August 24th?
Wouldn't the Fort Drum base have a record of you entering the base before the bowling started?

I am confused at your analogies and comparisions of how similar your actions are to his.  Please clarify for me the similarities?

REgards,

Luckylefty
