Proshop recommendation
« on: August 02, 2006, 11:53:16 PM »
Can anyone recommend a proshop in the Austin, Temple, and Waco (Texas) area? I'm looking into buying a new ball for the first time in 6-7 years and prior to that I worked with the same guy for a decade. I pretty sure the guy at my local center will be fine, but this is more of a request for my brother. His fingers and especially his thumb aren't normal and it affects his release if not drilled properly. I want to say he's triple jointed, but it's never been officialy diagnosed, but I have seen the sick things he can do with his hands. Anyways, we live in a smaller town than we are used to and he's not confident that the local guy will understand his issue and be able to get it right. He's looking for a proshop with a larger customer base and preferably someone with a reputation for quality. I guess he's thinking that a proshop like this is more likely to have run into a few people with similar issues as him.

Personally, I had considered getting my ball drilled online, but I haven't had one drilled in about 7 years and not sure how it should even be done anymore. Anyways, any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Jason
