Question: Which Spareball series hooks least?
« on: August 05, 2005, 03:36:45 AM »
Pretty much a comparison between the WD's, the Target Zones, Maxims and the Rios. Which one will go the straightest. I do know the Maxims have a significantly lower RG. And the TZ have more differential than the WD. Let me hear your experiences...

It's either a blue dot or Storm's Spare Storm...it also has a very hard shell material.

Excuse me for saying but wouldn't the drilling be more important than the ball itself. Or is there that big of a difference in the covers of these said balls?

I've heard mixed reviews about that ball. Some said it hooked and then some said it went straight. I'd prefer not to be surprised.

That black storm spare is very hard! 84-86 on the scale. That's crazy.
Can you get any of those anywhere?

kingpin, The V2 Dry can be made to hook, as any ball can be. I had a White Dot, as does my wife, we could both make those puppies hook, not much, mind you, but right drilling, right hand, any ball will hook.

The V2 Dry , if I spread my fingers, push my palm through the ball, will go down the same board I land it on, again, IF...I hit my mark, spare city, bit that's a BIG if, lately.

I'll stick with my V2 Dry, just wish I hadn't sold my other one....
