Title: Questions to ask the coach when taking a lesson
Post by: Buckwild on March 16, 2015, 09:13:48 PM
To make your lesson experience the best it could be, what types of questions do you ask the coach in order to figure out what you want as far as improving your game, or do you just have him watch you throw some shots and go from there?

What do you think you struggle with?

Personally, I struggle with my release. Trying to fix my backswing going left of the head and ending up with a weak suitcase position. Also, since he drills balls, could he see if I need a fit adjustment in order to relax the hand and have a clean release.

Realizing that you roll the ball like YOU do, ask the coach how you can be more consistent from shot to shot.
Too many guys want to roll it like someone else with entirely different build, flexibility, strength, etc.
