Finger Problems
« on: July 26, 2007, 08:01:39 AM »
A few months ago I started getting a pain in my ring finger after bowling.  It is in the knuckle closest to my hand and the small bones between that knuckle and the tip of my finger that goes in the ball.  Could this be caused by a bad span or finger pitch?  What should I do as it hurts really bad?

It could be a number of things in addition to what you've mentioned. I take an old ball that you can experiment with and change span and/or pitches and throw it awhile to see.

Things like that don't get better by bowling, however, it usually takes rest, ice, and anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or naproxen sodium before they calm down. Good luck.
