Regardless of Brand Loyalty - What ball has Surprised / Disappointed you this year?

Surprises
Break Out - Gr8 rolling solid

Disappointment
Bounty Hunter and Bounty Hunter Pearl - Never really matched up well at all.

Onyx Vibe - Over or under all day long and I love the Blue Vibe.

Cell Pearl - Add that one to the list, thanks for the reminder Goalieman59

There are no bad balls or good balls just good or bad match ups to said lane conditions with said equipment and ball surface/layout with your technique/stats. or non-technique/stats.

For those 50% that say so and so was a POS there will be another 50% that will say OMG what a great ball cuz the ones that loved it used it on the correct lane condition with their technique, stats and ball surface/layout.

surprise: Ebonite Mission... was at Michigan State Youth Tourney last week and there were so many of them, everyone with one was tearing it up... mine is amazing as well.

Disappointment: Ebonite Evolve... great ball for medium oil, but not at all what I got it for, tried various surfaces and layouts... just never was a heavy oil ball like ebo said it was.

Surprises:  

  Hammer Burn - just needed a little polish and it became a THS monster

  Storm Invasion - much stronger than anticipated

  MoRich Ntense LevRG - very smooth

Disappointments:

  AMF Mega Friction - Never matched up with this one

  Hammer Onyx Vibe - Always seemed to be either too weak or too strong

  Lanemasters XS Power - Hits weaker than my other LM stuff

I was very surprised how strong the Columbia Freeze was.  You can really swing it if you want.
I was very surprised how much I love throwing the Storm Natural.  It's the only ball I can throw 6 to 6 or 5 to 4 and strike.  It makes me wish I can do what WRWJ and Norm do!!
