Here is what I've been told...going to talk you...and myself for that matter through it a little bit.
When the ball enters the pocket and drives into the 3 pin too much, or too much straight back, the 3 pin catches the back left side of the 6 pin. This causes the 6 to almost travel straight right...missing the ten. The reason it looks like it wraps around the ten is because the bottom of the pin hits the side wall, causes the top of the pin to come upwards, and when the top of the pin hits the side wall it's the first part to bounce off, and behind the ten.
I've always been told to move 1/2 to 1 board right with everything, feet and target. This way, the ball will be coming into the pocket technically "higher," and therefore will catch more of the side of the 3 pin, pushing into the six at angle that is straight at the ten.
Don't know if any of that made sense to you...or to me for that matter, but that's what I've always been told, and that's what's always worked for me.
