Title: Roto Grip now at stormbowling.com
Post by: tommyboy74 on February 02, 2021, 06:15:07 PM
I was looking at the Roto Grip balls currently available and apparently Roto Grip's own site is no longer active.  In fact, if you go to rotogrip.com, it redirects to stormbowling.com where the current line of Roto Grip balls is featured.  I thought that was interesting as Roto previously had their own site with their own products, staffers, etc.  Now, I'm not sure if that means anything about the brand itself, but found it to be interesting knowing that 900 Global still has their own site with their own products.

How many brands are there not owned by Storm, or Brunswick? I am asking because I don't know.  I thought  I heard Motiv was still on its own, but are there any others that are not owned by Storm, or Brunswick?

As i know it:

StormBowling= Storm, RotoGrip and 900 Global

BrunswickBowling= Brunswick, Radical, DV8, Columbia, Track, Ebonite and Hammer

Only ones not under an umbrella (so to speak), are Motiv and Big Bowling.  You could probably also throw in Legends/Lane Masters.

And being a small fry in this big ocean of ball companies, not sure how long Big Bowling will last without some form of help.
just my .01 cent.

I think Luke mentioned on one of his videos that 900 Global will be condensed onto the Storm site as well. Just a matter of time when they get it built out. Not a surprise those, the current 900 Global site isn't that great.

Thanks so essentially only 2 or 3 companies. I don't think I have ever heard of Legends/Lane Masters. Now I have heard of Big Bowling I know they are new, but as of yet they haven't released anything I would be interested in.

www.californiabowlingllc.com Do a search here for Pat Patterson, "Hero Member" on the forum. He is quite familiar with these two brands (Legends/Lane Masters) and resides and bowls (not lately) out of Rio Rico, New Mexico.  Good luck. As I understand it, their products (bowling balls & etc) are quite good.  ;)

RG has been coming out with the best equipment of the Utah brands lately, it's a little disappointing that Storm is seemingly hiding it in the back.
