I'll give you the advice I've gotten from many on this site, seeing as how we seem to be at about the same level average-wise.  Don't join the ball of the month club, at least not now.  Stick with what you have and learn to use it all.  I'm actually trying to stick to only ONE ball right now to increase my accuracy and repeat shots.  You certainly have the equipment now to take on any condition, and constantly experimenting can hurt you more than help you, at least until you are in the 190+ range or so.  That's what many have told ME anyway.

If you absolutely must try something different, try a Dynothane or Brunswick piece.

had i not had this injury i'd be closer and closer to the 190 average. I've never even heard of the ball of the month club so i don't believe i would join it.but thanks for the info.

What I meant by "ball of the month club" was not a literal club, just that "itch" you're talking about.  I mean getting too wrapped up in always wanting new equipment when you don't necessarily need it.

Oh, here are some more specific ideas based on your needs, even though I still think you're fine with what you have.

Dynothane:

Vendetta Black Solid (Supposedly one of the best "control" balls there is, great for medium or even medium-light conditions.)
Element Zr40 (Very new, but sounds to be another great control ball, which is something you could probably use.)

Brunswick:

Absolute Inferno (May overlap a bit with what you have, but you may like it so much you use it exclusively.)
Smokin Inferno (Nice Skid/flip ball for medium to medium-light conditions.)
Zone Classic (Classic Activator cover, a HIGHLY proven performer.)
BVP Rampage or Nemesis (I've seen people have a lot of success with these.)

Hammer:

How's about that Doom?  You're a hammerhead already, right?  Why fix what ain't broke?

Columbia:

Uturn Pearl (Great ball with another proven cover, excellent on Medium to medium-light.)

Track:

Slash  (Another great control ball, here.)

Ima,

Splendorex has given some excellent advice.  However, given your profile and tendencies, I would probably not go with the Dynothane balls.  The Vendetta black works best with more revs than you seem to have and the new Element, if it is at all like the others, will probably not be terribly forgiving.

The Slash will also probably not be quite what you want.

I think you would like a variety of the Columbia mid-range balls, including the U-turn and you would probably do very well with any of the Brunswick equipment suggested for you.

I would also consider the Lane Masters Masterpiece.
