League Prize Fund

Hello. I am trying to figure out a good prize fund breakdown for say 27-28 teams on a normal Fall schedule for approximately $40k total. Prize fund to be broken up into quarter and end-of-season payouts. Anyone have any good suggestions on possibly the best way to accomplish this? TIA

League I bowl in does 2-halves with an overall.  The breakdown is usually 25%-25%-50% (overall), awarding teams for consistency throughout the year. 

Suggestion, don't be so top heavy with payouts the teams on the bottom are the ones who make your prize fund worth while and giving something back keeps them returning to your league.  Top heavy payouts will chase your weaker teams away.  Probably not exactly what you are looking for, just friendly suggestion.
