Hello everybody, I retired a couple of months ago and now I have time to bowl more. I am in 3 leagues at 2 different houses. So I am looking at 2 different ball spinners, Innovative 1/2 HP and Vertex 1/2 HP which one is better ? I am also looking at Vertex ball reviver and Salmon Creek Nu- Ball , So what one of these is best ? I would like to do my own ball maint. Thanks.

Honestly plenty of people on here swear by both the Innovative and Vertex so can't go wrong with either.  I have had the Innovative for over a year now and it works great.  Only hiccup is occasionally top rubber ring comes partially off when lift up a ball but sure that could be easily fixed if I was more handy and or motivated.  Very minor problem as I just put it back on and its good to go.

I'm a bit biased for the innovative spinner. Mine is at least two decades old and have never had a single issue with it. It has been used lightly at times and quite hard on  others but I could probably clean the ball dirt off of it and sell it as new but won't consider it.

I thought I heard the 1/3 HP models can overheat easier if doing multiple resurfaces.  The 1/2 HP also better for polishing IIRC.  Was only like $20 more when I bought mine so don't regret upgrading at all.

Go get some 3M Super Weatherstrip & Gasket Adhesive in 2 oz. Size @ AutoZone or favorite parts Store. It'll never move again!

+1000 on this tip (sorry to thread jack but wanted to give props).  So far so good.  Was afraid I wasn't patient enough to let the stuff get tacky before bonding materials (only waited a couple of minutes) but funny thing about a 100 degree garage give it time and it will bond.

What I have done is take a piece of gorilla tape and place it directly over the gap in the rubber and a little bit down each side of the holder and problem solved...rubber on my innovative doesn't come off anymore.
