Sawbones is in the Hospital

Dad has had some discomfort for several days and hasn't been able to go the the bathroom.  Friday, he went to a doctor and was told the go on in to the hospital and have some tests run.  Well, knowing dad, he refused and went home.  On Sunday morning, the pain was too great for him and he was taken to the ER.  They did a barium enama and can see sever blockage and will be having a scope this morning to find out what has caused the blockage and then will decide where to go from here.  

He's being sedated for the pain and is really out of it and sleeps most of the time.

Please keep Dad in your thoughts and prayers.

I hope it uncovers something MINOR .. He will be in my prayers .. DOC ..get back here and tell us about your hospital stay .. look forward to it!

I hope he gets well soon and next time you see him, tell him you love him..

I lost my dad in 92 and my mom just a few months ago and its been tough..

My point is, make sure to appreciate them while they are alive and well and don't take anything with them for granted..

I keep telling Bones not to swallow those pins he keeps chewing up.
Just like a doc to not listen to a doc!

Please get well quickly Bones. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
I think you are a class act and I have not even had the pleasure of meeting you face to face yet. My checks keep getting lost in the mail so I guess I will have to deliver them in person.

Chris, sure hope it's nothing serious.  You would think a doctor would know better than put things off.

Tell him we're praying for a fast recovery.  Got a laptop you can take to the hospital room??
