Anyone here from the Charlotte/Rock Hill area?
« on: June 08, 2008, 12:40:52 PM »
I was going to see if anyone from the Charlotte area wanted to get together and bowl a few games sometime during the week of 6/17-6/24. Me, the wife and daughter are flying into Charlotte and then renting a car and driving over to her parents house in Chester, SC. I have only been there a few times but know we are not far from Rock Hill, SC.

Let me know if anyone wants to get together and throw a few games.. I am not sure of the exact day(s) I will be free as yet, but will know more as it gets closer to our departure date.

Hope to meet some folks from br.com while I am there..

I know two people personally who come thru that area regularly, but not residents.  They only check onto the site 1-2x a week tho, so they may not have seen this.

I'm not terribly far from there (45 minutes), but going to be away doing visiting of my own.

Bump for Jim since there was only 1 reply.  No one at all in that area that could even take the time in to reply to the thread and make a suggestion for where to bowl, etc??

Sad.

Gary,

I just don't think anyone here likes me very much.. except for the 10 or so people that have bought balls from me and shot honor scores with them!! LOL!!

Rod,

thanks for the offer, but with gas prices what they are nowadays, I couldn't have you drive that far just to bowl a few games.. I was hoping to find someone 20 or so minutes away or something like that..

I don't even know any places top bowl around there but I am guessing Rock Hill has a place to bowl..

I appreciate the offer though..

Jim,

Rod was one of the guys that bowled the Westcreek crew on the final day in San Antonio.  I don't think you'll recognize him as you weren't around outside of being there when we bowled....but I remembered him.
