So I am bowling at my regular house. I'm not doing anything real different that I know of. When my ball comes out of the return I pick it up, stick my fingers in, and, "owe!" Scratched my thumb. hmmm, thats weird. Luckily it doesn't effect me when I throw my ball. I leave the center that day kind of confused because I have no idea how that happened. A few days later I go back cause Im bored and love to bowl...makes sense. After the first few games I go to pick up my spare ball, "owe!" A scratch on my spare ball now too!!!??!!! I tell the people that work there and as one of the guys is checking out my spare ball I keep bowling thinking, it better not come back worse. Ah, but behold the ball comes back with even more scractes than the first time. Im done for the day.
has anyone else had this problem before, and if so how did they solve it. And does anyone know how this would keep happening? Im scared to go bowling because I dont want to mess up my balls anymore than they already are. This happened on two different lanes on two different sides of the house. I'm completely lost and have no idea what to do. I asked my friend if slugs would help, but he said they would get messed up also. Hopefully someone here can help me or point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot.
