PBA Experience league...what should I bring?
« on: April 26, 2007, 02:27:01 PM »
For leagues I usually try to keep it simple, just bringing two balls plus my spare.  The Mean Machine is always one, then I usually bring the Power or the Doom.  Out of the balls below, what should I bring with me to a PBA experience league?  Should I bring more than 2 + spare, or can I get away with some combination of these with just that?  All are OOB condition.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Ryan, I would bring them all.  Why limit yourself if you have those options available.  Unless your trying to only use 2 strike balls and force yourself to adjust.  I have done that a few different times with some good success.  It's a great way to learn to adjust.

If your bowling to score, and win some pot games and what not, then bring every ball in your arsenal.

If your only going to bring 2 balls, I would use the PAIN and DOOM.

I will be bowling one of these this summer as well.

I have 3 balls, and I doubt any of them are going to work. O well.

Which pattern are you starting out on?

We are on Cheetah and it's brutal if you can't throw the ball straight!

Hmm..it probably is a good idea to bring them all, there is some overlap regarding how much oil they can handle, but the reactions are all quite different.  I get a controlled backend from the Mean, Inertia and Pain, and more of a flip from the Power and Doom.

Hmmm, I only have a three ball roller, I don't know if I can squeeze that in, Scott.
