Title: Smooth, Med-Dry ball?
Post by: tvphotog on October 12, 2006, 02:16:43 PM
I'm looking for a very smooth arching Med-Med/Dry ball. Most of my stuff is snappy right now (The One, Doom, Purple Vibe). I'm thinking Whirlwind or Blue Vibe, any others?

I don't think a Whirlwind or a Blue Vibe would be better. The Blue Vibe is stronger than the Purple one, and the Whirlwind is stronger than you might think.

Anyways, i would say a Track Desert Heat (if you can find one), or an AMF Orbit Extreme. They are 2 great balls for that condition.

I wonder what the details of this situation actually are, as the Doom and the Purple Vibe are not, by design, snappy balls.

You may need a pearl urethane or a resin ball drilled for very early roll.

The Brunswick Power Groove Dry/R reacts for me as you describe.  --  JohnP
