Title: Smoothest ball in the land? - BTU or Tundra
Post by: earlyrolling on October 20, 2016, 08:45:05 PM
Which ball would have the smoothest reaction off the dry (short pattern such as Cheetah) - the Brunswick Fanatic BTU (https://youtu.be/t1hPsvDuRkY) or the Track Tundra (https://youtu.be/HFSC_1-eog8 (https://youtu.be/HFSC_1-eog8))?

Are you talking about of just the new balls that are out, or including old balls as well?

A lot of that depends on surface prep and whether it is a symmetrical cored ball. in my experience the nature of most symmetricals is to roll smooth. Then, how you prep the surface and how you drill it.

Smooth reaction also depends a lot on the release. Cranker, stroker or full roller.
Layout also has a lot to do with motion of a bowling ball.
Discuss this with your local pro shop for best solution for YOU.
