Title: so i got robbed last night

i had to cover a shift last night at 2 am i walk to work take 1 backstreet 2 drunks chase me down pull a knife on me get 2 dollars in quarters and 5 dollars cash my cell and my ipod and protein jar i had to return worth 30 bucks i love people.  hope the cops get them never been more nervous/scared in my life with the balance of my life held that high knife right to my neck.

Shame that this happened to you and glad to hear you're safe.

At the same time though, and I'm not trying to be a cynical douchebag, but your problem is the first sentence. Why are you taking backstreets at 2 AM? That's just asking to get mugged.

That sucks man.  The main thing is that you are ok.

Material things can be replaced...a life can't be.  Sounds like you handled it well.  No sense in getting hurt over anything, much less the little they took.

I advise going to Budk.com and stocking up on objects that kill. Like you, I leave my knife at home a lot. Which is why I usually have a couple so I always have one.
