Help me get deeper

In an attempt to become a better and more versatile bowler, I would like to learn to play a little deeper on the lane. I'm sure many of you will suggest getting a coach, which I will eventually probably do, however I would welcome some suggestions as to what I could do to improve this aspect of my game especially with the offseason coming up and plenty of practice to follow this summer. Thanks for any input!

More revs and side roll is the way, so you'll have to learn that.  I'd read that one thing on Ron cliftons site that teaches how to get more revs.... on bowl4fun.com  Check it out.

"Playing deep" does not necessarily mean swinging the ball out 30 boards and back 15.  Crossing the arrows at 27-28 board with a target breakpoint of the 15 board at 40 feet is not a line you need a ton of revs to play and there are conditions that can force you into that type of line.

You can practice any line through the arrows to a target breakpoint with a spare ball, even if it doesn't get you a strike.  Good practice sessions are not about scoring, they are about improving your game.
