So I'm looking to replace my Match Up Pearl, I need something with a little more pop on the back end. I currently have a Magnitude 035 and the Quantum Fire so I need a ball that would go longer than the Fire. I almost bought the Ebonite Affinity but I decided not to at the last moment. I think the Katana and the Logix are exactly what I'm looking for but I can't decide. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Neither would be longer than your Fire. The Affinity is a decent choice. Brunswick has a Magnitude 035 Pearl coming in a couple weeks

Affinity pops off the backend with good length. Katana is stronger than the Logix overall.
Affinity is a nice ball, and the price is nice for what you are looking for.

I think the Affinity is a fine choice. The other two would probably be too strong especially if you're not looking for something towards the top of your bag.

I don't even throw EBI and that Logix peaked my interest. I got the feeling it was going to be an earlier Hy-Road Pearl and the video reviews looked good. I haven't thrown any of the balls mentioned in this thread though so my comment is probably about useless.

Have not thrown the Logix yet, but the Katana is long and strong, for sure!

Can't wait to roll my new used Honey Badger tomorrow for the first time.  Not as strong as the Katana but hard to find a Katana used for the price I got the Honey Badger either.  With my high axis tilt there is no such thing as a skid flip ball for me sadly but I keep trying.

Thread jacking but finally rolled that Honey Badger today and was impressed.  Sadly I put way too much surface on it (green scotch brite, no polish) because I knew I was using it in a house with pretty heavy oil and as result got a lot of 9 counts.  Hesitant to blame that on the ball as have a feeling the ball was burning up some (still suck at reading ball motion in general but seemed to be laboring at the end).  Been working on increasing my axis rotation some and have finally hit the point where yes there is such a thing as moar surface being bad (especially with a 65x4"x30 p4 hole drilling).  Ball only left one bullshit split though and was near the very beginning of the session.  Ran out of time but bet the ball would have really shined had I thrown a third game.  Zero over and under but with lots of surface not a surprise.  Would still be the ball I would recommend first from the 900 family but a sucker for two piece balls too.
