Hammer Taboo or Brunswick C-System Alpha Max??
« on: January 20, 2011, 01:22:17 AM »
I am trying to decide which one of these would be better for me.
I want something with a lot of back end action.  I mostly bowl on a house oil pattern, can be medium to heavy oil at times.

Opinions or thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

I got the chance to see these two thrown side-by-side last week.  The Taboo starts up quicker and is continuous throughout the lane.  The alpha-max is cleaner in front, but has a sharper move at the break.

Both balls are good choices for heavier mediums, it all depends on the reaction shape you like to see.

Remember the Alpha Max has a $50 rebate as well. That should help you decide. haha
