Title: Substitute for ProShine Ball Polish
Post by: BruceKaratz on October 04, 2012, 11:19:26 PM
I need to buy a ball polish and I do not have a ball spinner.  I have bought Pro Shine several times and really liked it, but now I can't find it any longer.  I have bought the Motiv Power Gel as well and it was cake-y and didn't leave as nice of a shine as the Pro Shine.  Before I spend my money on a polish, I wanted to see what you thought was a suitable substitute.

Never heard of Pro Shine. Who makes it?
(Can't tell from the picture)

Black Magic makes a pretty good hand polish. Im not sure about the polish you're referring to above, i think i remember it but that was a long time ago.

That's a Brunswick product.

Any idea how old it is? I've only been doing this for 15 years or so and I've never seen nor heard of it.

If it's Brunswick, the safest replacement is probably Brunswick's High Gloss Factory Finish polish:

I've been bowling since around the early 90's.So It was years ago I had use it, I've only seen it once in a pro shop.

The place I found it mainly was in places like K-Marts and sporting goods stores around their bowling supplies the bottle came blister packed.

I thought they quit making.

Aloarjr810,

I meant I've been doing serious surface changes for about 15 years. Been bowling a lot longer than that.
