Best med-heavy ball on the market?
« on: July 30, 2013, 10:57:35 AM »
I have read a lot of reviews and watched countless videos on med-heavy oil balls. I wanted to see what you guys think is the best med-heavy oil ball on the market today or within the last 3 years and why you think they are the best.

For me currently it's the Rotogrip Disturbed. Heavy rolling with a nice finish, even in oil. And a close second is the Motiv Venom Strike, nice read of the midlane without being too jumpy at the end of the pattern.

depends on the shape youre looking for. most versatile 5 that stick out to me was would probably be the gamebreaker, marvel pearl, hyroad, versa max, full swing......around here the versa and full swing didnt sell as well as the other balls on the list but i blame that on their short time on the market.

For me, it is the Elite Espionage.  There is a good video and some reviews in the Elite forum that will give you a good idea on how the ball performs.  You will definitely be shocked.

Disturbed and HyRoad are on my list. How well do they handle med-heavy? I have a medium ball (Nomad Dagger) but looking for something above it. I never really looked into Elite as I heard they were really expensive. Does anyone remember how the Nomad Solid or Rogue Cell handles med-heavy oil?

I will also cast my vote for the Disturbed.  It is worthy - trust me! Reason is because it will handle oil, makes a nice strong move ( not jumpy) just turns hard and continues though the pin deck. It hits hard. I have mine pin down with some polish on it. Best solid ball I have bought in a long time.

Keep it up folks! Pretty soon, you'll have listed every med-heavy ball on the market. That should narrow things down a bit.  ::)

LOL! That was kind of my intention to get a list of balls and the reasoning behind why they think it's a great med-heavy ball.

Brunswick C-System Maxxed Out...great ball...heavy roll, great backend and doesn't tend to burn up like some.

Its way too soon for me to Rank it, Ive thrown three games with it on used conditions...My initial impression is at same surface and same drill it will equal the Soul but be a bit smoother...I really need to throw it more and on more oil before I have a real solid opinion..

If you want something more med-med heavy....Look at the War Eagle....bit weaker than Soul in oil, but excellent ball that is very very consistent....Carries everything...That is my favorite ball right now
