Title: symetric / asymetric questions?

which one is better? what type of bowler is one best suited for?  wood/synthentic lanes make a diff?  will drillings make a big diff? do symetric balls go longer?  are symetric balls easier to control?  are asymetric balls more skid/flip? whats everyones take on these, and please add more to this.
