Would you bowl in this league?

First prize $30,000.  Payout is only to the winner.  However, there are no points kept, so at the end of the season, EVERYONE is a winner!  Payout divided evenly by entire league.  Lanes and walls are fixed and gutters removed so everyone bowls 300 every game.

Sounds great, how could it fail?  It gives bowlers everything they want.  An easy shot so they can shoot high scores every game!  A handicap system where each and every bowler wins every single game!  A big money payout for the winners!

Isn't this basically what bowlers in America want?  A high scoring environment where they can never lose?  A low stress, don't have to think about the shot league to drink beers and unwind while shooting big scores! Here it is!  Who's gonna be the first to join?!

I call it the "Mega Happy League" where everyone shoots 300 and everyone wins!

As so many here prefer their politics, you seem to completely exclude the vast middle ground where virtually every bowler lives.  Either you want the toughest shot available where the house has a prize for anyone who can put two strikes together or you want the easiest shot imaginable where an 899 series is a bad night.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.  I realize (hope) you're joking and you don't actually believe there are any bowlers in the country who would want a league like that.

Shelley is always there to call my bluff.

Just poking some fun in light of all the complaints about "good" bowlers being penalized and not having a chance to win handicap leagues, people not wanting challening sport shot/PBA leagues, people not wanting easy THS leagues, people not bowling because not enough prize money, people complaining they don't have a chance to win scratch leagues against the "good" bowlers, etc...

Amid all the whining, it sometimes sounds like my "Super Mega Happy League" really could be what some bowlers want.
